Join a consultancy dedicated to commercial evidence. Leclair Team is a place for people who want to work on live market entry questions and contribute to decisions that carry commercial weight. The work is highly analytical and shaped around briefs that need judgement as much as they need technical competence.
We are interested in people who can read a market carefully, ask useful questions regularly and stay focused on the end goal when the answer is not obvious. That means being comfortable with ambiguity and working through detail carefully.
What the Work Involves
Our work changes from brief to brief, but the underlying expectations stay consistent.
Review market conditions and opportunity sets
Support entry strategy and commercial analysis
Help shape route-to-market decisions
Work closely with senior stakeholders
Expansive knowledge of our specialist sectors; technology, ESG, green energy and real estate
Who Fits Well Here
Leclair Team suits people who are precise in their thinking and practical in their delivery. The role is right for candidates who are comfortable moving between analysis and action, and who can keep their work grounded in the realities of the brief.
You do not need to arrive with a single fixed specialism. What matters is the ability to think well, communicate clearly, pay attention to the important elements and contribute in a way that improves the quality of the decision.
What we value in candidates
Strong commercial judgement
Clear written and verbal communication
Attention to detail
A measured approach to client work

Salary: Commensurate on experience (subject to annual performance-based bonus)
Leclair Team is hiring a Technology Market Analyst to support research, market mapping, data extraction and written analysis across our client engagements. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to build commercial judgement in an advisory environment, work on live projects, develop analytical skills and understand how businesses expand.
The Role
As a Technology Market Analyst, you will be the foundational research engine for our advisory work. You will dig into sector data, map out competitor landscapes, identify buyer trends and help contextualise the commercial environment.
The role suits someone who is curious about technology markets, comfortable working with detail, adept at handling data, and able to turn information into something useful for decision-making. You will work on briefs that help clients understand where a market stands, how a proposition fits, which competitors hold ground and what needs to be considered before an expansion moves ahead.
What You Will Do
Conduct detailed primary and secondary research across technology markets to map competitor activities, target customer segments, regulatory shifts and pricing models
Extract quantitative data and qualitative insights from industry databases, public filings, proprietary reports, and client-provided materials
Translate raw data into structured briefing notes, internal summary documents, presentation decks and commercial market maps
Assist senior consultants in pressure-testing client assumptions by providing hard evidence regarding market sizing, potential barriers to entry, channel dynamics and local operating conditions
Monitor ongoing shifts in the European and global technology landscapes to ensure our advisory work reflects the most current market realities
What We Are Looking For
Leclair Team needs someone with a sharp analytical mind, a strong academic foundation, excellent research habits, and a genuine interest in commercial strategy. You must demonstrate an aptitude for parsing difficult information, organising findings logically, spotting inconsistencies in data, and presenting conclusions without relying on jargon.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Technology Management, Finance, Data Science, or a closely related analytical discipline
Up to 2 years of professional experience in market research, strategic planning, corporate intelligence or business consulting
Relevant certifications in data analysis, market research methodologies, financial modelling or commercial strategy are highly advantageous
A measured approach to problem-solving, high attention to detail, strong time management and a comfortable demeanour when working alongside senior stakeholders
Fluency in English and French is essential
What The Role Offers
This role gives you exposure to market entry work from the start. You will see how research becomes analysis, how analysis becomes advice, how decisions are shaped in practice and how plans turn into delivery. It is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in strategy, market intelligence, commercial advisory or consulting support work.
Working Style
Leclair Team values careful thinking, precise writing, exacting factchecking and a measured approach to client work. The environment suits people who are interested in the detail behind market decisions, who want to develop their judgement through direct project exposure, who take ownership of their research, and who communicate effectively.
How To Apply
Please send your CV, a short covering note, a summary of your academic background and an explanation of your interest in technology markets through the contact page.
Equal Opportunities
Leclair Team welcomes applications from candidates of different backgrounds, disciplines, perspectives and experiences. We assess applications on ability, curiosity, analytical precision and fit with the demands of the role.
